The Craziest Brand in Town...

Hello Lovelies!

Today I have a post all about Sugarpill Cosmetics coming up for you.
Sugarpill aren't so well known here in the UK, but I think that they deserve
a lot of recognition, as they create very beautiful products.
Mainly creating eyeshadows, eye palettes and eyelashes, they have recently
branched out into creating some stunning liquid lipsticks, and some
gorgeous lipsticks.
Many people do wonder where you can get hold of it here in the UK, and
there are a couple of great websites where I have bought my products off;
All of these websites are legitimate sellers of Sugarpill here in the UK, and
they have a wide range of their products for reasonable prices too.

Anyway, onto my blog post, I have 4 eyeshadow palettes to show you,
an individual eyeshadow and a liquid lipstick.

Addicted to Pretty Eyeshadow Palettes-

I own two of these palettes, which both house 4 crazy bright eyeshadows
each,  They're both in identical packaging, with a nice big mirror inside, which
makes it great for travelling with.

L-R - Sweetheart Palette, Burning Heart Palette

Sweetheart Palette,  Top- Bottom  (on arm) Midori, Afterparty, Dollipop, Tako

I love this palette, it's very random, but beautiful and the colour pay-off you get from
each shadow is fabulous. I love to use dollipop and midori in my inner
corners quite often, but I do use all of these shadows pretty often.
They're creamy and easy to blend, and just all round fab.

Burning Heart Palette. Top - Bottom (on arm) Poison Plum, Love +, Flamepoint, Buttercupcake

This one is my favorite out of the two, mainly because of the three 'fire' colours.
I love to create a fire coloured smoky eye sometimes, and this palette makes it so
much easier. Like the other palette,  they're insanely pigmented and creamy
and some of these colours, with such good colour pay-off are pretty hard to come by.

Cold Chemistry Palette-

The Cold Chemistry Palette, is a collection of their darkest and smokiest colours, alongside
the most beautiful sparkly white. It's packaging is very pretty and unique
and houses these shadows perfectly.

Top-Bottom (on arm) Soot & Stars, Subterranean, Elemental Chaos, Diamond Eyes

As you can see, these shadows are just as amazingly pigmented as their other
shadows, and this is the perfect palette to create the craziest smoky eye with a
little twist. I love this palette so much, but I need to use it more and venture
into the dark smoky eye looks more often...

Sparkle Baby Palette-

100% my favourite thing I own from Sugarpill is this palette. Just from looking
at the packaging, you can just see it was made for me.
It's so magical and fairy like and I use it very often, as the shades are just
crazy versatile. You can use Candy Crush as a beautiful highlight, and Kitten
Parade makes a stunning blush with a likeness to Nars' infamous 'Orgasm' blush.
They are just all so creamy and lovely, and if I had to recommend one thing
from Sugarpill, it would be this palette.

Top- Bottom (on arm) - Hotsy Totsy, Kitten Parade, Frostine, Candy Crush

@#$%! Limited Edition Single Eye-shadow-

@#$%! is a limited edition shadow that they released around a year ago now, and as
soon as I saw it I just knew i needed to have it. You can see from the picture
the absolute beautiful sparkle in it, as well as the intense pigmentation.
It's such a stunning shade and is a firm favourite eye-shadow of mine.

Kimchi Liquid Lipstick-

I am in LOVE with this lipstick, it was created by Kimchi, a well loved
Drag Queen,  and is one of only 2 liquid lipsticks they currently sell.
The packaging is so pretty, and very cute - it looks beautiful in my make-up drawers.
Also, the applicator is pretty similar to Jeffree Star's liquid lipsticks, as it is a doe
foot, with a pit inside to hold product, which is definitely my favourite kind of
applicator.

It's a gorgeous grey toned violet (ish) colour, with a very subtle hint of shimmer
in there, which looks beautiful. The shade is very unique and unlike many others
that I have ever seen. It's very easy to wear, and also looks great on
all different skin tones.

So that is my current Sugarpill Cosmetics collection, and much like Jeffree Star, I will
be expanding this collection no doubt, as they're always releasing such amazing
products and I have my eyes firmly on their new line of lipsticks, so watch this space.

Also, a little side note - the palettes are no longer sold as a whole anymore, as you
now have the chance to build your own pro palette using any shade you like, which is
amazing!! All of the shades from the above palettes are available to buy in pans
to put into a pro palette, so don't fear.

Have a beautiful day, and I will see you all very sooon.

Love and Hugs,
Yasmin x

Jeffree Star is a Star.

Hello my lovelies!

Today I have a little post for you so I can show you my current Jeffree Star
collection.
I have to say, his make-up brand has really taken me aback and I am seriously
hooked on his products. I mean, to say he is a fully indie brand, they are all
so high quality, and so beautiful. You can just see all of the precious time and
effort he has put into creating them.
My collection is pretty small, and I am gradually expanding it overtime, as
I have a long long list of the products I am dreaming of.

Velour Liquid Lipsticks-

Perhaps his most loved product out of his range, is his amazing line of liquid
lipsticks. Loved by many, they have an incredible formula and despite being
matte ( bar a couple ) they are extremely comfy on the lips, and last a long time.
His range varies from white to black, and from a metallic gold called "Pu$$y Whipped" to
bright blues. He has definitely created something for everybody in his collection.
For even those who will only wear nudes, he has a wide range of nudes too.

As from now, I currently own five of his liquid lipsticks - 4 matte ( however Pumpkin
Pie has a slight shimmer ) and 1 of the metallic liquid lipsticks.

They also have the most beautiful packaging. It's very unique and unlike any
other on the market.

All of the lipsticks ( bar any special collections ) have a pink lid, with rose gold stars on it.
His name is then written on the bottle in rose gold again. They look very sophisticated
and luxurious. The applicator is unique to these lipsticks, as it is sort of doe - footed, but it has
a sort of pit in the center of it, so that it holds a small amount of product inside, so that it
makes application quicker and easier.
Top - Bottom - Crocodile Tears (LE), Pumpkin Pie (LE), Posh Spice, Sagittarius (LE)

Sagittarius

Sagittarius is from his Holiday 2016 collection, and it is a very unique and beautiful colour, like no other.
It is a grey toned nudey - brown, which sounds strange, but it all works nicely together to
create the most gorgeous lip colour. It also seemingly goes with every make-up look, and every
outfit and just looks beautiful on. It also has great staying power, as like his other liquid lips.
Posh Spice
Posh Spice is from his permanant line, and is loved by many people as a go to colour.
It is definitely one of my go to shades on a daily basis, as it is just again so easy to match
and to style with other things. This is more of a brown, with a slight hint of nude - which was
definitely the shade everybody went crazy for in 2016 thanks to Kylie Jenner.

Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin Pie was also from his Holiday 2016 colllection, and it is very beautiful.
I'd describe it as an orange-toned red, with a slight gold glitter to it, which is
a gorgeous addition to this already beautiful lipstick. It's a great twist on the classic
red lipstick, and a firm favourite of mine.

Crocodile Tears is again from his Holiday 2016 collection and is a very unique
shade. It's a dark 'holly' green colour, which is definitely not for the faint hearted.
But me being me, and loving bright make-up  - I love this lipstick, and I love wearing it.
I get endless compliments in this shade too.

Next is my only metallic liquid lipstick I own by him ( so far ) and I love this shade so much.

Dreamhouse is a beautiful metallic pink shade, which applies really nice and evenly
and dries to the most beautiful formula. It's so sparkly and metallic, but not sticky or tacky
in the slightest. He has another two shades in this line so far, but I definitely think
he should add lots of colours to this line, as they're beautiful.

Skin Frosts-

Top - Bottom  Peach Goddess, Lavender Frost, Mint Condition
His skin frosts are essentially his take on a highlight. He has a wide range of shades
which you could never find from any other brands, but as well as his crazy shades,
there are also shades which people who like natural make-up would appreciate.
So far I have 3 of them, and am definitely looking at getting more of them as I
am converted and use them everyday.

The packaging is very sturdy and safe to take out in your bag without worrying too much
about it getting smashed. They also house a mirror in each one and a huge pan. This is another
thing I love about these products is quite how much of it you actually get. It's wonderful.
The classic JS is embossed onto the pan, but obviously rubs off over time.

Lavender Snow is a beautiful highlight shade.  In the pan, it does look a lot different than
on the skin, as it is very lilacy and beautiful on, and looks absolutely lovely. Again, I
would say that if you're not very daring with makeup, then I don't think this highlight
is the one for you.

Peach Goddess is an absolutely stunning shade. I wear it more on those days where I want
subtle and not bright make-up. I would definitely recommend it to anybody, as it is pretty,
It still makes your cheekbones pop, but it doesn't add the extra colour like some of his
other skin frosts.

Mint Condition is definitely my favourite out of the lot, as it is the brightest and most
daring. I love this to bits, it adds a mint frost to your cheeks and makes you look
so sweet!

Beauty Killer Palette-

The Beauty Killer Palette is definitely up there with one of my favourite palettes
of all time. I use it every day without fail, and I actually own two of them, just in
case he ever discontinues it. ( if that doesn't tell you how much I love it, then I don't know
what will.) The eyeshadows are so pigmented and creamy, and don't even get me started on
how amazing the colours are. I mean 'star power' exactly matches my bright pink hair at the
moment. 'Princess' makes an amazing highlight for the cheeks or brow bone. It's just an
all round brilliant palette which I'd recommend to everybody.

L-R- China White, Princess, Courtney, Rich Bitch, Star Power

L-R- Expensive, Violence, Confession, Vanity, Black Rainbow

As you can see, they're all insanely pigmented and just all round fabulous.
Bring on the Androgony palette!!

So, that rounds up my post, and brings it to an end.
I will definitely be doing other editions of this of different make-up brands,
as well as keeping you updated on my ever growing Jeffree collection!

I hope that you've enjoyed reading this, and maybe has inspired you to go and
buy some of his products and show him some love!!
He's an amazing man, go check out his youtube channel too!

Love and Hugs,
Yasmin x

hello, again.

I'M BACK!

So after almost a year, I have finally bit the bullet and to try and start my blog
back up again.

Over the past year or so - so many things have happened. I turned eighteen,
have added more make-up to my collection and have finally decided on my
career choice for the future.
Things are looking up for me, I'm happier than I have been in a long time,
and for once I do feel very positive about life.

I'm hoping to post some of my make-up collection, and some style inspiration
for you guys. Also, I'm wanting to incorporate Disney into my blog too!
I have so much to share with you, and I cannot wait to begin.

I hope that you're all well,
and I shall see you very soon!
Love and Hugs,
Yasmin x

The 'This or That' Beauty Edition Tag!

Hello again!

So since this is my first proper post and I have no pictures ready
or anything yet (and the daylight has now gone) i've decided to
do a little tag post for you all. It's pretty cliche'd I know, but
it's all just a lil bit of fun!

MAKEUP...

blush or bronzer?
This is pretty hard for me as I usually tend to wear both of these on
a daily basis. But I think if ever I had to choose just one, I'd choose blush because
then I could pick a dark browny/pink blush and also use that to
define and shape my cheekbones a lil.

lip gloss or lipstick?
Easily lipstick. I am really not a big lover of lipgloss, as I find it too slippy and
it just moves around too much for my liking. I'm much more suited to a good old
matte lipstick, which I trust to stay put and not end up smeared all over my face
and in my hair.

eye liner or mascara?
As much as I do love a good cat flick, I would have to say I would need mascara.
Without mascara I look odd and almost like my eyes are even smaller than they
already are. I just find mascara opens up my eyes and fans out my eyelashes
making them look nice and long.

foundation or concealer?
I don't wear foundation on a day-to-day basis, so for me my essential is concealer.
I have awfully dark circles, which are in desperate need for lots of concealer
to lift my eyes up and make me look less sleepy.

neutral or color eye shadow?
Although I don't wear it half as much as I used to, I'd definetely have to say I prefer
wearing coloured eyeshadow, as I feel there is so much more you can do with
it rather than just sticking to neutrals all of the time. Don't get me wrong, I love my 'naked'
palettes, but I much prefer wearing something bright on the eyes.

pressed or loose eye shadows?
As a very naturally messy person , I really do not get along with loose eyeshadows.
I use them on some occasions, but for me they just make too much mess
and produce far too much fall out under your eyes. Pressed eyeshadows are
just as good, but minus the mess.

brushes or sponges?
Granted, I love my beauty blender, but for me I just much prefer to use a brush.
Especially for applying eyeshadow as I feel like it gives a much more 'blended' look
rather than it just being spreaded on with a sponge - not a good look.

NAILS...

OPI or china glaze?
I love both of these brands, but in terms of quality and staying power on my
nails, I would have to say China Glaze. As much as I love OPI's colour ranges
and packaging, I mostly find that they can chip easily, unlike China Glaze polishes.

Long or short?
I have the ugliest and shortest nails eveeeer due to me biting them constantly. But I
would dream of having beautiful long nails, which never break and that I can
paint without getting it all over my skin.

Acrylic or natural?
Since my nails are currently stupidly short, I would say I prefer acrylics
as they can actually give me the long nails I always dreamed of. However,
acrylics also can ruin your natural nails, so if ever I had the will power to grow
out my natural nails. I would certainly steer clear of acrylics.

Brights or darks?
On my nails I tend to wear whichever colour takes my fancy (usually a mixture) so I
find this hard to say. However, I usually do tend to reach for the brighter colours, or
pastels over darks as I feel they make my nails look a little less grim.

BODY...

perfume or body splash?
Without a doubt, perfume wins for me. Although I do wear body mists throughout
the day when it's just a quick refresh, but I just think there are much nicer scents
in the world of makeup, and also it lasts a hell of a lot longer.

lotion or body butter?
I find it hard to tell the difference between the two in my honest opinion, however
I am currently loving a Victoria's Secret body butter, so let's just go with that...

body wash or soap?
I've actually never washed my body with a bar of soap so I wouldn't know, but for
me it just feels more natural and better for your skin to use a body wash as it's less
harsh and more moisturizing.

lush or other bath company?
Lush all the way. You'll come to learn over the next few months how much I love
Lush and their amazing products. They have great ethical views too, so I just have a
hell of a lot of love for that company.

FASHION...

jeans or sweat pants?
If i'm lounging around the house or not really leaving to go anywhere, I would prefer
to wear some joggers as they're much comfier than wearing jeans. However if I was
going out to town, or to do some shopping I would always choose jeans as I class
sweat pants as sports wear or pyjamas.

long sleeve or short?
Again this depends on the weather and also which one would go best with my
outfit. In winter I do enjoy wearing long sleeved shirts as they keep me walmer, just
as short sleeved shirts do in the summer.

dresses or skirts?
I feel like I prefer skirts as you can change them up more, by adding a different top or
something rather than a dress being the same without really allowing much
change about (if any of that made any sense...)

stripes or plaid?
I do enjoy wearing stripes a lot at the moment, so I'd choose that. However,
I do enjoy a nice bit of plaid and tartan in the winter months.

flip flops or sandals?
I don't really get on with flip flops as they always somehow seem to wreck my feet,
so I'll only wear them on holiday. Sandals on the other hand, I do like to wear
and they don't give me any pain.

scarves or hats?
I'm really not a lover of scarves, and tend to avoid them because I feel like
they just really do not suit me. I really do enjoy wearing hats, but I often
feel scared almost to wear them which often puts me off. I should push myself out of
my comfort zone though, so I can share my love for hats!

studs or dangly earrings?
On some special occasions I would choose dangly earrings, however on a daily basis
I would choose to wear studs as they're much easier to style, but I am a sucker for
some feather earrings.

necklaces or bracelets?
I enjoy wearing them both, however I own a significantly larger amount of
necklaces to bracelets, and I tend to buy them a lot more too.

heels or flats?
I do love heels, and wish I could wear them without teetering all over the place,
but for me I find it much easier to just stick to flats or maybe platforms at a push.

topshop or river island?
I am 50/50 on this question as I love the bags in River Island, I think they're amazing
quality and also very unique and lovely. But I personally prefer Topshop's clothing
collection as it is much more suited to my style (despite being massively out of my budget)

HAIR...

curly or straight?
I always say I hate my naturally curly hair, however whenever I take up the huge
effort to sit and straighten it, I always instantly regret it. I really don't suit straight hair
as it seems to make my face look really long and fat, just not a great look for me.

bun or ponytail?
I don't often wear my hair up as I find it makes me look like a man, however I
would rather wear a pony tail because then at least you can see some of my hair rather than just looking practically bald.

hair spray or gel?
Neither! They both make my hair greasy as chuff, as well as making it
unpleasently crispy and just not very nice.

long or short?
Easily long, I really miss my long hair so for me I'd do anything to have it back.
I feel like there's just so much more to be done with long hair, and so many
styles you can do which you can't do on short hair.

light or dark?
Definately light. I hate my natural hair colour, which is brown. At the moment I
have to stay this colour in order to heal my hair a little bit after it was
wrecked from excessive bleaching and dying. However, I think I suit lighter hair
a lot more, and as I always say - "I should've been born blonde."

side sweep bangs or full bangs?
At the mo I am really loving my full fringe, it makes my huge forehead look smaller.
But occasionally I do enjoy having it swept to the side, but that's a very seldom seen occasion.

up or down?
As I said earlier, it's gotta be down, as I look like a bloke with it in any kind of updo.

RANDOM...

Rain or shine?
I always feel happier when the sun is shining, plus it doesn't ruin your hair and
make-up, so shine is a real winner for me!

Summer or winter?
As much as I love the weather in Summer, a lot more exciting things happen for me
in Winter, as there's my Birthday and Christmas, which is super duper exciting.

Fall or spring?
I love the colour of the trees in Autumn, however all of the baby animals which
are brought into the world in Spring make that the better season, just because
baby animals are better than anything else on this worllllddddd.

So there you have my last blog post of today - I quite enjoyed doing that tag however
I am super excited to get back in with my beauty and lifestyle posts!

I hope you've all had a lovely day and have a lovely weekend coming up
and I shall see you all very sooooon....
